What you will do

• Create custom computing hardware designs to support the online gaming business.
• Define and document scale-out requirements for hardware, firmware, and software partners.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to design, develop, and deliver high-performance hardware.
• Integrate system-level solutions with rack and datacenter-level architectures.
• Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• BSEE required (MSEE or PhD preferred).
• 7-8 years of experience in hardware design and technical leadership.
• Deep knowledge of high-speed protocols including PCIe, DDR5/6, Ethernet, and USB4.
• Strong understanding of digital electrical design and electrical design tools.
• Experience building, debugging, and troubleshooting high-performance systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface with executive staff and engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with FPGA/CPLD design and vendor-specific tooling.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Perl, TCL, Python, or C/C++.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, interconnects, and storage technology.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
