Salary: $141,000 - $237,000 annually

What you will do

• Collaborate with executives and partners to draft clear and accurate public disclosures.
• Help shape Board and committee agendas and take part in committee meetings.
• Draft, update, and maintain corporate governance policies.
• Team up with Investor Relations and Public Relations on shareholder communications.
• Streamline and improve processes to ensure timely, efficient public company reporting.
• Lead the legal side of M&A transactions and negotiate deal documents.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active state bar membership in good standing.
• 4+ years of corporate legal experience with a focus on public company securities law and SEC reporting.
• Deep understanding of SEC rules, regulations, and forms.
• Strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a team-first mentality.
• Excellent legal and business judgment, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and organization.

Nice to have

• In-house experience is a plus.
• M&A experience is a plus.
