What you will do

• Own the design process end-to-end for your product area, identifying opportunities to improve user experience and drive product impact
• Design intuitive, user-friendly experiences that balance technical complexity with accessibility and ease of use
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle
• Conduct user research to understand needs, validate design decisions, and translate insights into actionable design improvements
• Maintain a high craft and quality bar, ensuring every detail contributes to a cohesive and polished experience
• Contribute to design systems and patterns that scale across the North platform

Requirements

• Product Design Experience: You have 4+ years experience designing digital products with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your process, systems thinking, and measurable impact on user outcomes.
• You have a strong understanding of AI concepts and agentic systems, including how models reason, use tools, and orchestrate multi-step workflows.
• You have a collaborative approach to product development, working closely with Product Managers to identify opportunities, with Engineers to navigate technical constraints and review implementations, and with stakeholders across the organization to align on solutions.
• You have a deep commitment to understanding user needs through research, data, and direct engagement.
• You have a meticulous attention to craft and detail, build scalable patterns and systems, and consistently elevate the quality of everything you touch.
• Clear, proactive communication that keeps distributed teams aligned.
