Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO; San Francisco, CA; New York, NY (expected 2-3 days per week in office). Remote approved for most locations with secure internet required.

Salary: $245,000-272,000 (Denver & most remote locations); $288,000-321,000 (San Francisco & New York)

What you will do

• Design and build scalable platform services like agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, eval frameworks, and model serving for internal AI product teams.
• Lead technical strategy and architecture for AI platform including model lifecycle, observability, safety guardrails, and evaluation infrastructure.
• Collaborate with app teams, PMs, and Designers to deliver capabilities unblocking their AI needs.
• Build and operate shared infrastructure powering intelligent agents across hirify.global such as retrieval, routing, and prompt management.
• Prototype and productionize new AI/ML techniques, establish validation and monitoring practices.
• Mentor engineers, communicate strategy to executives, and foster AI/ML best practices.

Requirements

• 12+ years building and deploying end-to-end AI/ML systems, with platform-level infrastructure experience.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, NLP, retrieval/RAG, agent orchestration, deep learning, or reinforcement learning.
• Hands-on with LLM-based applications, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, evaluation, and production deployment.
• Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), and strong Python skills.
• Proven track record shipping AI/ML projects, cross-functional leadership, and clear communication.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. or Master's in CS, ML, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
