What you will do

• Build end-to-end ML/LLM features from data to deployment and monitoring.
• Develop LLM applications with retrieval, tool use, and structured extraction for health experiences.
• Convert unstructured text into structured signals using NLP and LLMs.
• Create data pipelines for training, inference, evaluation, and analytics.
• Design evaluation systems and production guardrails for quality, safety, and harm reduction.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and clinical experts; lead AI architecture and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years building and shipping production ML systems
• Strong Python and ML/LLM libraries (Hugging Face, LangChain or equivalent)
• Production-grade pipelines, MLOps best practices, and model operations
• ML fundamentals in NLP, deep learning, evaluation
• Large-scale data processing with Databricks/Spark
• Product instincts to translate business needs into ML outcomes

Nice to have

• RAG and retrieval systems experience
• Healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA familiarity)
• Streaming data, experimentation, causal analysis
• Prototyping end-to-end experiences
• LLM safety systems design
