Requirements

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field required.
• 10+ years of production-level experience as an engineer and technical lead building highly scalable and reliable software.
• 5+ years of managerial experience building and leading technical engineering teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams that design, build and operate cloud-native, distributed systems in production.
• Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable, and maintainable platform architectures.
• Strong background with modern server-side development (e.g., Python, Java, or C#).

Nice to have

• Experience in attracting, hiring, and coaching world-class engineers including performance management.
• Experience in taking ownership of the technology decisions, while delegating and empowering team members.
• Experience communicating analysis and establishing confidence among audiences who do not share your disciplinary background or training.
• Familiarity with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka) and workflow / data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or similar).
• Experience working with systems that integrate with ML/AI models for real time inference or LLM applications is strongly preferred.
