Requirements
- BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field required.
- 10+ years of production-level experience as an engineer and technical lead building highly scalable and reliable software.
- 5+ years of managerial experience building and leading technical engineering teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams that design, build and operate cloud-native, distributed systems in production.
- Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable, and maintainable platform architectures.
- Strong background with modern server-side development (e.g., Python, Java, or C#).
Nice to have
- Experience in attracting, hiring, and coaching world-class engineers including performance management.
- Experience in taking ownership of the technology decisions, while delegating and empowering team members.
- Experience communicating analysis and establishing confidence among audiences who do not share your disciplinary background or training.
- Familiarity with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka) and workflow / data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or similar).
- Experience working with systems that integrate with ML/AI models for real time inference or LLM applications is strongly preferred.
