What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the community, troubleshooting issues and escalating technical feedback to product and engineering teams.
• Manage and grow presence across Slack, GitHub, Reddit, LinkedIn, and Substack to foster authentic connections.
• Design and launch ambassador programs to recognize top contributors and deepen user loyalty.
• Develop dedicated spaces for specific cybersecurity roles to ensure a large global community feels personal and supportive.
• Plan and execute community events including virtual meetups, webinars, AMAs, and online summits.
• Analyze engagement data to optimize community programs and demonstrate the value of community-driven growth to the business.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in community program management with proficiency in Slack and other platforms.
• 5–8+ years of experience in tech, specifically within SaaS, cybersecurity, or open-source ecosystems.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) with strong communication skills.
• Technical curiosity and comfort with product APIs and technical documentation.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Active presence and deep understanding of platforms like GitHub, Reddit, or StackOverflow.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or threat intelligence concepts.
• Experience managing open-source project communities.
• Prior experience with user advocacy or ambassador program design.
