Lead QA Engineer

What you will do

• Lead comprehensive testing across native mobile applications, backend services, distributed platforms, and frontend systems.
• Coordinate QA activities, cross-team dependencies, risks, estimates, priorities, and backlog items across multiple technical domains.
• Design and execute advanced testing approaches, including Monkey Testing and Chaos Engineering practices.
• Develop project-level test strategies, test designs, automation coverage, and test scripts for UI and API acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts on software design, issue diagnosis, reporting, and quality improvements.
• Evaluate testing tools and techniques, identify automation gaps, and contribute to CI/CD test coverage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing for large, complex, and distributed systems.
• Experience coordinating or leading QA activities across interdependent Mobile, Web, and Backend teams.
• Professional experience testing native iOS and/or Android applications and distributed backend or microservices platforms.
• Mandatory experience with Monkey Testing and/or a strong theoretical or practical background in Chaos Engineering or Resilience Testing.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including understanding of services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS in system testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with complex frontend web applications.
• Automation experience and programming or scripting skills in Python or Ruby.
