QA Lead (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the test strategy for a real-money settlement engine and validate that settlement calculations cannot leak, double-pay, or drift.
• Test closed-loop money movement end to end and verify that transactions are fully auditable.
• Drive security testing at the RPC and SECURITY DEFINER layers, where core business logic is implemented.
• Verify that age gating and identity verification occur before funds can move.
• Create a traceable test-case library, establish a defect tracker in Linear or Jira, and report reproducible defects.
• Coordinate sandbox testing across OpenNode and Resend while leading the CALL-IT pod.

Requirements

• Senior QA or test-engineering experience with money, transactions, ledgers, wallets, or settlement systems.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills, ideally including stored-procedure or SECURITY DEFINER function testing.
• Experience testing payment, settlement, ledger, or wallet flows.
• Experience testing API-driven web applications and RPC layers.
• Ability to design test coverage from scratch and lead a small pod.
• Clear written English is required for rigorous, reproducible defect reporting.

Nice to have

• Background in fintech, payments, iGaming, or testing.
• Familiarity with Supabase and Vercel.
• Experience with KYC, identity verification, or age-gating flows such as Persona.
• Understanding of Bitcoin or Lightning settlement, including OpenNode.
