What you will do

• Define test strategies, specifications, cases, and plans from design and functional documentation.
• Test web-based enterprise applications and ensure features pass integration and system testing before release.
• Automate acceptance, functional, regression, scalability, and performance test cases for UI, CLI, and API testing.
• Design, develop, implement, execute, and troubleshoot automated test tools, frameworks, and scripts.
• Analyze, track, document, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Lead quality engineering discussions and mentor QA engineers in debugging, planning, and domain expertise.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or full green card holder; the position supports a government client.
• At least 5 years of experience testing complex software products for large enterprise customers in an Agile environment.
• Deep understanding of QA processes, standards, tools, technologies, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience delivering complex features for web-based enterprise applications and automating UI, CLI, and API testing.
• Practical knowledge of one or two open-source automation tools or frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Selenium, Protractor, Azure DevOps, Git, TDD, SAFe, Agile practices, automation, and code releases.
• Experience using Python, Perl, PowerShell, or JavaScript for testing pipeline scripts.
