Senior QA / Test Engineer - 12 Weeks (571)

Location: Remote within LATAM; Florianópolis HQ is available for occasional office use.

What you will do

• Author and execute functional test cases across the governance rule library, validating PERMIT, DENY, and ESCALATE outcomes.
• Test the custom-rule intake path end to end, from rule submission to the resulting engine record.
• Build negative and edge-case coverage for actions the platform is designed to prevent.
• Support multi-tenant isolation, audit-chain, and adversarial testing with the Senior Security / QA Lead.
• Maintain traceability between test cases, rules, and requirements.
• Log defects in GitHub Issues and re-test fixes through the freeze-audit CI gate.

Requirements

• Senior QA or Test Engineering experience with API-driven backends.
• Working knowledge of Python and the ability to read source code to design precise tests.
• Experience testing rule-based, workflow, or decision-logic systems with explicitly defined correctness.
• Experience with Postgres and SQL for validating persisted state.
• Comfort with Docker and CI-based test execution, such as GitHub Actions.
• English at B1 level and availability for full-time remote work within LATAM for approximately 12 weeks.

Nice to have

• Test automation experience with Python services.
• Experience with authorization or policy-engine testing.
• Interest in security testing and developing further expertise in this area.
