Location: Hybrid role based in Cambridge, UK (with requirement for regular office attendance).

What you will do

  • Act as a trusted partner and coach to senior leaders, balancing commercial objectives with an exceptional employee experience.
  • Navigate sensitive employee relations and performance matters with autonomy.
  • Lead complex organisational design and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Translate people data and insights into actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on growth.
  • Guide leaders through organizational change and transformation with empathy and clarity.

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a Senior People Partner or HRBP within a fast-growing tech or SaaS organisation.
  • Advanced knowledge of UK employment law and ability to handle complex employee relations independently.
  • Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders to build leadership capability.
  • Pragmatic, principles-led approach to people work with strong decision-making skills in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to inform people strategy.

Nice to have

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting the development of others within a People team.
