What you will do

• Design and build a cloud-based service that computes and serves vehicle software specifications.
• Architect and develop the agent responsible for managing the software lifecycle on autonomous vehicles.
• Deepen OS-level integration to ensure robust and isolated application environments.
• Collaborate to implement deployment strategies that enhance reliability and developer workflows.
• Debug and resolve complex system-level issues across the fleet to ensure high uptime.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python for building robust, maintainable applications.
• Solid experience with Linux systems programming and administration, particularly systemd.
• Experience building and running systems in production, including AWS or Kubernetes.
• Systems-thinking mindset capable of reasoning about distributed system failure modes.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no relocation sponsorship provided).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Go for scalable backend services.
• Experience with Nix or NixOS.
• Familiarity with gRPC for inter-service communication.
• Background in robotics, IoT, or managing remote hardware software.
