What you will do

  • Lead and scale the Japan sales team while personally driving strategic enterprise deals as a playing manager.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives.
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies targeting enterprise customers across Japan.
  • Partner with local SDR, partner sales, and marketing teams to maximize pipeline generation.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to C-level executives, helping them maximize automation and integration potential.
  • Forecast accurately and refine sales processes to ensure scalability.

Requirements

  • 8-12+ years of enterprise software sales experience in the technology space (SaaS or PaaS preferred).
  • 2-5+ years of sales management experience with a proven track record in building high-performing teams.
  • Must be fluent in both Japanese and English to communicate with multi-lingual stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed personal and team quotas.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales methodologies like MEDDIC or Challenger Sale.
  • Experience communicating with senior executives and navigating complex organizational structures.
