Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Hybrid)

Salary: $72,100 - $80,000

What you will do

  • Lead the team in reviewing and resolving transaction monitoring alerts across wire, ACH, and check types.
  • Guide analysts through complex fraud investigations to identify trends, anomalies, and high-risk activity.
  • Manage and document suspicious activity cases ensuring compliance with laws and NACHA requirements.
  • Develop recovery strategies and collaborate with partner banks to identify optimal recovery paths and mitigate losses.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Account Risk, and Customer Service to balance user experience with risk mitigation.
  • Maintain SLAs and provide coaching and mentorship to analysts to support team development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing fraud trends, preferably in a financial institution or fintech.
  • Previous experience in transaction monitoring for credit, debit, checks, wire, or ACH.
  • Proficiency in Excel for creating spreadsheets, models, and reports.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
