What you will do

• Take full ownership of end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding processes across all systems.
• Establish robust IT asset management, including procurement, provisioning, and hardware tracking.
• Implement role-based access controls and manage SaaS governance to improve internal security.
• Partner with an external CISO to operationalize security practices and drive compliance readiness.
• Build and document scalable IT processes to support rapid company growth.
• Design the IT operating system infrastructure to ensure high productivity and system reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or IT management.
• Proven record of scaling IT systems in high-growth environments.
• Deep expertise in IT asset management, device lifecycle, and SaaS governance.
• Strong understanding of security fundamentals, identity systems, and access controls.
• Ability to translate security strategies into actionable IT execution.
• Must be able to work onsite in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Startup or 0-to-1 scaling environment experience.
• Experience with MDM tools like Jamf, Kandji, or Intune.
• Knowledge of identity tools like Okta or Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks or security audit readiness.
