TL;DR

Commercial Account Executive (SaaS): Managing the full sales cycle for incident management and reliability platforms with an accent on technical consultative sales to DevOps and SRE teams. Focus on driving sustainable growth, navigating complex buying journeys, and articulating the value of platform reliability to engineering leaders.

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite 3x/week in Boston, MA.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 base + variable compensation.

What you will do

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to deal closure.
  • Lead discovery calls to understand technical requirements and reliability challenges of potential customers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to DevOps, SRE, and IT leadership.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive outbound and inbound efforts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide field feedback to influence product strategy and go-to-market motions.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work onsite in Downtown Boston 3x/week (Tuesday - Thursday).
  • 2-4+ years of experience in SaaS sales with a proven track record.
  • Direct experience selling to technical audiences like DevOps, SRE, or Engineering teams.
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder consultative sales processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into business value.
  • Self-motivated mindset with a focus on accountability and growth.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling developer tools, infrastructure, or reliability platforms.
  • Familiarity with incident management, monitoring, or on-call workflows.
