Salary: $168,000 — $210,000 USD annual base

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of cloud-native backend services for the cross-product onboarding platform.
• Migrate legacy onboarding logic from Salesforce into resilient, observable services and a dedicated persistence layer.
• Design scalable orchestration and data pipelines in collaboration with Product and Compliance teams.
• Develop platform capabilities to streamline customer onboarding while maintaining strict compliance.
• Contribute to foundational data modeling for the future identity platform.
• Mentor engineers and champion high standards for code quality and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Deep experience in fullstack engineering for modern, cloud-native distributed systems.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale systems in complex environments.
• Strong API design skills using REST and/or gRPC.
• Experience with AWS and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Must be based in California (CA) for hybrid in-office collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS/SQS).
• Domain expertise in Fintech, Regtech, KYC/KYB, or identity verification.
