TL;DR

Salary: $168,000 — $210,000 USD annual base

What you will do
- Lead the design and development of cloud-native backend services for the cross-product onboarding platform.
- Migrate legacy onboarding logic from Salesforce into resilient, observable services and a dedicated persistence layer.
- Design scalable orchestration and data pipelines in collaboration with Product and Compliance teams.
- Develop platform capabilities to streamline customer onboarding while maintaining strict compliance.
- Contribute to foundational data modeling for the future identity platform.
- Mentor engineers and champion high standards for code quality and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Deep experience in fullstack engineering for modern, cloud-native distributed systems.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale systems in complex environments.
- Strong API design skills using REST and/or gRPC.
- Experience with AWS and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
- Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Must be based in California (CA) for hybrid in-office collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS/SQS).
- Domain expertise in Fintech, Regtech, KYC/KYB, or identity verification.
