What you will do

• Manage and maintain complex RDBMS and NoSQL database environments.
• Ensure database performance, scalability, and disaster recovery across bare-metal and virtual infrastructure.
• Design and implement replication chains, partitioning, sharding, and backup procedures.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and resolve technical issues.
• Drive infrastructure automation and database lifecycle management using IaC tools.
• Perform ongoing troubleshooting to maintain system stability and high availability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Expert-level proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including DDL, DML, and DCL.
• Experience working with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Linux administration.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting, automation, and IaC tools like Terraform or Puppet.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix.
• Previous team management experience.
