Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design target AWS cloud architectures with engineers and align them with client stakeholders.
• Plan and execute production PostgreSQL migrations, including replication, switchover, backups, and rollback procedures.
• Build and maintain declarative infrastructure as code using Terraform or a similar tool.
• Move production workloads in planned stages and maintain reliability throughout migrations.
• Review infrastructure changes and document technical decisions.
• Lead technical discussions with clients and turn outcomes into written designs and estimates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or in a similar cloud infrastructure role.
• Hands-on AWS experience with IAM, VPC, subnets, security groups, EC2, and S3.
• Production PostgreSQL migration experience, including replication, switchover, backups, and tested rollback plans.
• Experience with Terraform or a similar declarative Infrastructure as Code tool.
• Strong Linux, networking, TCP, UDP, and IP addressing knowledge, plus the ability to work with application code when needed.
• Fluent spoken and written English; able to work independently in a remote environment and participate in technical discussions and code reviews.

• Experience with Nix.
• End-to-end cloud migration experience.
• Experience designing least-privilege access across multiple AWS accounts.
• Experience with managed container services, CI/CD, or other major cloud providers.
