TL;DR

Strategic Account Manager (Sport Sector): Managing sales and profitability for a portfolio of international brands in the sport business unit with an accent on strategic planning, negotiation, and cross-functional project execution. Focus on driving account growth, analyzing market needs, and building high-impact partnerships across hirify.global’s flash sales and marketplace services.

Location: Hybrid (Milan). Must be able to work from the office on a regular basis.

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary ambassador for hirify.global’s value proposition to strategic brands.
  • Prepare and execute long-term business plans, including account mapping and market analysis.
  • Negotiate conditions at the brand management level and constantly revalidate partner needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, production, finance, supply chain) to ensure operational excellence.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive sales and profitability.
  • Prospect key new brands to initiate business across various hirify.global services.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in key account management.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong technical sales background including prospecting, negotiation, and objection handling.
  • Understanding of financial metrics such as P&L, depreciation, and budget management.
  • Excellent command of Excel.
  • Degree in business or marketing.

Nice to have

  • Sector-specific knowledge of the sport industry.
  • Previous experience managing international projects.
