Operations Manager (Fintech): Leading personal banking operations by guiding teams of managers to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency with an accent on people development and real-time decision-making. Location: Must be based in the UK (London, Cardiff, or Remote).

Salary: £47,600 – £60,200 + Share Options

What you will do

  • Lead and coach a team of up to 7 Team Managers to drive performance and build future leadership.
  • Make critical real-time operational decisions to balance service levels, team wellbeing, and efficiency.
  • Take full ownership of operational performance, identifying trends and driving continuous improvements.
  • Champion team engagement and advocate for necessary support to ensure success.
  • Proactively innovate processes and tools to optimize ways of working.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including workforce planning and risk teams.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience managing leaders in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Proven ability to thrive in high-energy, dynamic settings.
  • Strong background in people development, inclusion, and wellbeing.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to make key decisions based on insights.
  • Passionate about creating excellent customer experiences in banking.
