TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Cybersecurity): Fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and business success, with an accent on strategic initiatives focused on share-shift, customer retention, and new customer acquisition. Focus on identifying opportunities to increase sales, improve revenue performance, and enable partner success through actionable plans.

Location: Hybrid in Mississauga, Canada with the opportunity to work 2 days remotely per week. May travel up to 10% (Canada or US travel), however, mainly GTA travel.

Salary: $68,000 - $75,000 CAD per year.

What you will do

  • Manage internal and external relationships to drive collaboration and business success.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on share-shift, customer retention, and new customer acquisition.
  • Drive sales and improve revenue performance across assigned accounts or territories.
  • Design and implement clear, actionable plans to support channel partners in growing their business.
  • Track key performance indicators and produce insightful reports using advanced Excel skills.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with licensing, marketing, and extended teams to align efforts.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field).
  • Minimum 3 years of business development or account management experience within IT distribution or a Cybersecurity Partner.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently deliver business plans and performance reviews.
  • Able to develop and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships through a customer-focused approach.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and effective presentation abilities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
