Solutions Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Solutions Engineer (Fintech): Designing and delivering technical product solutions to meet customer needs and highlight the value of the hirify.global platform with an accent on integrations and navigating the platform. Focus on complex client relationships from pre-sale through implementation, helping partners design integrations.

Location: New York, New York, United States; San Francisco. NYC-based employees work from our SoHo office three days a week. Tuesdays and Thursdays are our core days, and you'll choose a third day that works for your schedule and team needs.

Salary: $170,000 - $225,000 plus equity.

What you will do

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to strategic clients, from early-stage fintechs to enterprise partners.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand client goals, technical environments, and program requirements.
• Translate complex client needs into concrete integration designs and implementation plans.
• Develop expertise in hirify.global's APIs, card issuing workflows, and platform capabilities.
• Review client implementations and proactively identify risks, gaps, or optimization opportunities.
• Partner closely with Account Executives to support pre-sales and shape solution proposals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a similar customer-facing role focused on implementing SaaS or technology solutions.
• 3–5 years of experience in FinTech, particularly in payments, card issuance, or financial services technologies.
• Strong understanding of APIs and complex technical concepts, with the ability to translate them into clear, actionable insights for customers.
• Excellent communication skills: able to translate technical information into clear business language to different internal stakeholders.
• Strong presentation skills: comfortable and confident presenting to external teams technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver impactful, user-facing solutions.
