Salary: $166,000–$195,000 (Zone 1)

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services and systems.
• Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements meeting strict correctness standards.
• Implement improvements to system performance and engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and external vendors to deliver technical solutions.
• Manage and process large-scale datasets for brokerage and identity systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Strong background in backend development and system design.
• Proficiency in Go or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar data streaming technologies.
• Proven track record delivering large-scope technical projects in cross-functional environments.
• Must be able to work on-site at least 3 days per week in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or financial institutions.
• Familiarity with Postgres, Kubernetes, Redis, and AWS.
