TL;DR

Staff Technical Program Manager (Fintech): Leading complex technical programs focused on system performance, observability, and automation for core brokerage systems with an accent on architectural design, scalability, and platform reliability. Focus on driving cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and operations to deliver durable platform improvements at scale.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY (3 days/week in-office)

Salary: $191,000–$225,000 USD (Zone 1)

What you will do

  • Lead large-scale technical programs for brokerage infrastructure from design through delivery.
  • Translate complex platform strategies into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and execution plans.
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and technical bottlenecks regarding system performance and reliability.
  • Optimize program management processes to increase execution speed and reduce operational overhead.
  • Provide clear status visibility and influence alignment across engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading complex technical or engineering programs in large-scale environments.
  • Strong technical fluency to evaluate system architecture and design tradeoffs.
  • Proven ability to bring structure and measurable outcomes to ambiguous technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • Background supporting financial systems, brokerage platforms, or portfolio trading systems.
