TL;DR

Senior UX Researcher (SaaS): Leading research initiatives to influence product strategy for a complex marketplace platform with an accent on behavioral insights and digital transformation. Focus on designing research programs for AI-enabled features and mapping complex user journeys across a multi-billion pound ecosystem.

Location: Must be based in Manchester (Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week)

Compensation: £450 per day (Inside IR35)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end research programs that directly influence product strategy and platform direction.
• Conduct deep qualitative research and contextual inquiry to uncover user behavior across complex buying and selling journeys.
• Map comprehensive user journeys across digital ecosystems including web, mobile, and operational workflows.
• Utilize Jobs to Be Done and design thinking frameworks to synthesize insights.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to validate AI-driven product capabilities.
• Identify friction points and opportunities for platform improvement within a large-scale marketplace.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of experience in UX, Product, or Service Research.
• Strong expertise in qualitative research methodologies and program management.
• Ability to work effectively in agile product environments.
• Experience working on complex platforms, marketplaces, or B2B products.
• Must be able to work hybrid from the Manchester office (2 days per week).

Nice to have

• Experience researching AI-enabled product features or AI-assisted research workflows.
