What you will do

• Define and execute engineering strategy and technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Lead system architecture decisions to ensure scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, participating in coding, infrastructure, and complex problem-solving.
• Oversee full product lifecycles from ideation to launch in a 0→1 environment.
• Build, mentor, and scale high-impact engineering teams including internal and hybrid staffing.
• Drive delivery excellence and establish standards for DevOps, observability, and reliability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience in cloud-native and extensible architectures.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role such as Director, Head of Engineering, or VP.
• Proven track record of building and launching 0→1 products in fast-growth or startup environments.
• Deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, and AWS infrastructure.
• Ability to switch between strategic planning and tactical hands-on execution.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS, AI/ML, B2B, or enterprise-grade products.
• Ability to manage hybrid teams comprising both contract and in-house developers.
• Background in security, compliance, or highly regulated environments.
• Experience scaling engineering organizations from early-stage to growth-stage.
