What you will do
- Lead and support contract negotiations with strategic partners and vendors on complex commercial and technology matters.
- Structure, draft, negotiate, and advise on various technology and commercial agreements.
- Provide legal support for the company’s privacy, data, and security initiatives.
- Improve contracting processes and management by working with legal team members and outside counsel to localize agreement forms for the EMEA markets.
- Assist with other legal responsibilities for the EMEA markets, including employment, real estate, marketing, and regulatory matters.
- Handle ad-hoc legal projects as requested by senior members of the legal team.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of practice in a top law firm and/or in-house legal department with relevant transactional experience.
- Prior technology experience is a plus, with useful experience in digital advertising, data/privacy, and intellectual property.
- Excellent business judgment and ability to assess legal risk while thinking strategically and providing sound, practical advice under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to multitask and set priorities, and a strong work ethic.
- Natural leadership qualities as a team player, comfortable making decisions and interacting with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Status as a qualified UK lawyer.
