Senior DFT Engineer (DFT)

Location: Remote in Ukraine, with locations listed as HITECHPARKODESA, Rivne, Lviv, and Kyiv

What you will do

• Implement DFT in line with existing test methodologies for advanced process nodes.
• Perform top-level and block-level DFT insertion, including scan compression, JTAG, ATPG, pattern validation and simulation, MBIST, and LBIST.
• Collaborate with physical design engineers to resolve timing constraints and issues.
• Verify DFT circuitry and interfaces with other components and IPs, and debug timing simulation issues.
• Improve DFT KPIs such as test coverage and pattern efficiency through debugging and optimization.
• Support hierarchical retargeting, silicon bring-up, diagnosis, and physical failure analysis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with DFT and test flows for large and complex SoCs using commercial EDA tools.
• Strong knowledge of DFT techniques, including JTAG, ATPG, yield learning, logic diagnosis, scan compression, IEEE 1500, MBIST, and LBIST.
• Experience with Synopsys DFT Compiler, TetraMAX, VCS, Tessent, or Modus/Encounter tool suites.
• Hands-on scripting experience with Perl, Tcl, or Python.
• Knowledge of RTL simulation, synthesis, linting, CDC/RDC checks, STA, and quality metrics is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
