What you will do

• Promote a culture of ethics and integrity, providing training and support on topics like anti-bribery and internal controls.
• Serve as a risk & controls subject matter expert, establishing excellent relationships within the R&C team and local markets.
• Support the design and implementation of financial, operational, and compliance controls in line with the WPP Internal Control framework.
• Design and operate effective quality reviews and control monitoring programs as a second line of defense.
• Coordinate audit and compliance activities, liaising with internal and external audit teams and monitoring remediation.
• Coordinate internal control and risk management processes, such as business risk maps and internal control self-certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in risk and controls, ethics and compliance, business process improvement, risk management, or internal / external audit.
• Familiarity with IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and PCAOB requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to take ownership of new projects and tasks.

Nice to have

• Certified Accountant, ACA/CA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Language skills (Spanish, French, German desirable).
• Experience in media and advertising with knowledge of core business processes.
