What you will do
- Develop pragmatic relationships with internal stakeholders to serve as a trusted advisor on supplier risk.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of risk and control oversight plans to ensure compliance with laws, industry standards, and regulations.
- Provide expert risk opinions on notable topics and emerging themes to board-level leadership.
- Represent the organization as an Operational Risk specialist when engaging with regulators and external partners.
- Support oversight of operational continuity and resolution impediments within the second line of defense.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of internal supplier risk with specific knowledge of regulations like OCIR, Ring Fencing, and SS2/21.
- Proven ability to distill complex information into powerful messaging for senior leadership.
- Experience in designing and implementing risk and control oversight plans.
- Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to assimilate various data sources into actionable recommendations.
- Confidence in providing credible advice and challenge to senior business leaders.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of external supplier risk and regulations such as DORA.
- Experience using AI for predictive risk analytics.
- Previous experience working in an agile environment.
