What you will do
- Define ASIC architecture and create System Verilog RTL designs.
- Manage physical design implementation including synthesis, STA, PAR, and power analysis.
- Support verification processes, debug designs, and improve coverage.
- Perform lab analysis on ICs using debuggers and oscilloscopes to verify functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, test engineering, and research.
- Determine optimal design approaches and parameters to meet stringent medical quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant engineering field.
- Minimum 7 years of ASIC Design experience (or 5 years with Master's, 3 years with PhD).
- Expertise in System Verilog RTL design and physical implementation flows.
- Must be able to work onsite in Mounds View, MN for at least 4 days per week.
- Must have U.S. work authorization (sponsorship provided for Principal level).
- Proven ability to define and solve complex technical problems in a team environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in medical device development.
- Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, Tcl, Perl) and automation.
- Knowledge of DSP and mixed-signal IC design.
- Familiarity with Cadence CAD tools and UVM methodologies.
- Experience with agentic AI for tool flow automation.
