What you will do
- Manage policies, practices, and operations for the selection, negotiation, and licensing of technology products and services.
- Arbitrate claims or complaints arising from contract performance and resolve vendor disputes.
- Develop and implement processes for risk assessments, contract management, and issue resolution.
- Conduct analyses of vendor networks to assess capability and recommend new vendors based on capacity needs.
- Negotiate, extend, terminate, and renegotiate contracts for equipment, materials, and services.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, including engineering leadership based in Slovakia.
Requirements
- Must have US work authorization; no sponsorship provided.
- Proven experience in contract management, negotiation techniques, and project management strategies.
- Knowledge of vendor management methodologies and procurement lifecycle management.
- Ability to apply ITIL service delivery standards in managing IT services.
- Experience with software licensing practices and global sourcing.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders and formalizing business agreements.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as CTPS (Certified Technology Procurement Specialist) or CTPE (Certified Technology Procurement Executive).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience in consulting roles providing business guidance to clients.
