Senior AI Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain generative AI agents, MCP servers, function tooling, and multi-agent workflows using Python.
• Build generative AI features that automate customer tasks and complex business processes.
• Develop secure, efficient, maintainable code with strong data privacy and secure-by-default practices.
• Integrate generative AI solutions into existing systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and stay current with Python and generative AI advancements.

Requirements

• Must reside in the United States and be able to obtain a security clearance.
• At least 5 years of Python software development experience.
• Strong experience building generative AI solutions, agentic AI systems, and multi-agent workflows.
• Strong prompt and context engineering skills, plus experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
• Experience building secure code and understanding security risks such as XSS and SQL injection.
• 3–4 years of experience with generative AI provider APIs and models, plus at least 2 years developing AI agents and agent orchestration frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG, vector databases, embedding pipelines, PostgreSQL, and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with local LLM deployment, model fine-tuning, and Hugging Face.
• Familiarity with LLM observability, evaluation frameworks, and cost and latency optimization.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST AI RMF, or CMMC 2.0.
