What you will do
- Develop and implement a cohesive editorial strategy that aligns with brand mission and growth goals.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of editors, writers, and multimedia producers.
- Manage end-to-end story development, from pitch to publication, maintaining high standards for accuracy and tone.
- Maintain the editorial calendar and oversee production workflows across web, social, video, and audio platforms.
- Collaborate with Art Directors and creative strategists to maximize reach and audience engagement.
- Represent the publication in partnerships, events, and external collaborations.
Requirements
- Must possess work authorization in the U.S. without sponsorship requirements.
- Must be able to work on-site in New York, NY, 5 days per week.
- Proven experience in a senior editorial leadership role, such as Editorial Director or Managing Editor.
- 5+ years of combined experience in copywriting, editorial, or content strategy.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
