What you will do

• Set and evolve the global visual strategy for Vanity Fair alongside the Global Creative Director.
• Lead and manage the visuals team across markets, providing direction, feedback, and mentorship.
• Oversee all aspects of photo shoot production, including commissioning, vendor liaison, and budget management.
• Collaborate with editorial, sales, advertising, and digital teams to ensure cohesive visual execution across platforms.
• Manage contracts, photo fees, and usage rights for all images.
• Drive high-impact visual content projects from conception to completion globally.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in New York, NY for onsite work.
• 10+ years of experience in visual production with significant magazine background.
• Strong editorial judgment and experience managing global teams in a matrix organization.
• Deep knowledge of photography history and art history.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to travel occasionally for assignments and shoots as requested.
