TL;DR

Special Projects Lead (AI): Driving operational effectiveness and strategic alignment within the Intelligence & Investigations team with an accent on complex cross-functional program management and systemic process design. Focus on translating high-level safety and investigation strategies into actionable roadmaps, managing high-ambiguity initiatives, and ensuring cross-departmental execution across Product, Legal, and Safety teams.

Location: Must be based in the US (San Francisco, NYC, Seattle, Washington DC or Remote US). PST hours required. Relocation assistance provided for the San Francisco office.

Salary: $230.4K – $425K + Equity

What you will do

• Partner with leadership to translate strategic priorities into clear roadmaps, milestones, and OKRs.
• Drive cross-functional programs across legal, policy, and engineering stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Resolve operational blockers and ensure high-priority safety initiatives remain on track.
• Develop metrics frameworks and dashboards to report team outcomes and operational health.
• Lead ambiguous, high-stakes initiatives from concept through to successful completion.
• Serve as the connective tissue between the investigation team and partner teams including Product and Global Affairs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in program management, strategic operations, consulting, or chief of staff roles.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Proven experience managing complex cross-functional programs involving technical and policy stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in high-ambiguity environments and bring structure to evolving, loosely defined problems.
• Systems thinking skills with experience building scalable processes and metrics.
• Clear and concise communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
