What you will do

• Manage three high-performing teams: Malware, Cloud Antivirus, and Malware Processing.
• Define and execute the product roadmap, improving detection metrics and signature quality.
• Lead architectural decisions for distributed systems using Airflow, ClickHouse, and Python.
• Oversee infrastructure capacity planning and performance optimization for large-scale cloud processing.
• Foster engineering excellence, mentor team leaders, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Integrate advanced AI/ML models into the malware detection and analysis lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in a leadership role managing multiple teams.
• Deep expertise in malware analysis, signature-based detection, and heuristic engines.
• Strong background in distributed systems, data engineering, and workflow orchestration.
• Extensive experience in managing security products or research labs.
• Ability to lead geographically distributed teams effectively.
• Technical proficiency in Python, distributed databases, and CI/CD best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning applied to malware detection.
• Knowledge of PHP internals and dynamic analysis.
• Background in web hosting security (cPanel, Plesk).
• Familiarity with GCP and cloud storage infrastructure.
