What you will do

• Act as the lead Systems Engineer on strategic Tier-1 and hyperscale accounts, personally driving the technical sales cycle.
• Design complex data infrastructure solutions tailored for AI/ML, HPC, and enterprise workloads.
• Execute competitive Proof of Concepts (PoCs) involving installation, configuration, and performance benchmarking.
• Collaborate with the GM of Greater China to define regional technical go-to-market strategies and navigate data compliance.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Systems Engineers.
• Enable channel partners, VARs, SIs, and domestic cloud alliances on VAST technology.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical presales or systems engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of leadership or player-coach experience, ideally in a founding technical role.
• Native or fluent Mandarin and professional English proficiency are strictly required.
• Proven track record of winning complex technical sales cycles with deal values between $500K and $5M+.
• Deep expertise in enterprise storage, file systems, GPU-accelerated computing, and Linux infrastructure.
• Ability to remain hands-on with hardware, command-line diagnostics, and architecture design.
