What you will do

• Develop and maintain a continuous, data-grounded understanding of the AI market and relevant trends.
• Provide analytical support across Finance and broader teams to inform strategic decisions.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to surface insights for product and business stakeholders.
• Create clear, well-structured materials to communicate complex market information internally.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid from San Francisco or New York City with office presence at least 25% of the time.
• 5+ years experience in strategic finance, consulting, equity research, product management, or related analytical roles.
• Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in SQL or similar data tools.
• Deep interest in AI products and technology with ability to synthesize complex information.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Visa sponsorship available but not guaranteed for all candidates.

Nice to have

• Experience in equity research or investment analysis covering technology or infrastructure companies.
• Background combining technical/product work with finance or consulting.
• Familiarity with consumption-based business models.
• Experience conducting primary research through expert networks or user interviews.
