What you will do

• Develop and deliver high-quality backend services and APIs using C#, .NET core, MongoDB, and SQL.
• Work with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js to support web development.
• Implement RESTful services and ensure scalable, high-performance middle-tier components.
• Guide and mentor team members to build a high-performance engineering team.
• Consider architectural and non-functional requirements in product delivery.
• Utilize containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near Manchester, UK, with hybrid work model requiring office presence.
• Significant commercial experience with C#, .NET core, MongoDB, SQL, and domain-driven design.
• Strong knowledge of frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js) and RESTful API development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test-driven development, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and message queue technologies (RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Experience in financial services or e-commerce sectors preferred.
