What you will do

• Develop and maintain Merchant Solutions functionality, including transaction flows, reconciliation, and payouts.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical decision-making within the Pay engineering group.
• Architect and implement complex features from concept to delivery independently.
• Address technical debt through regular refactoring and system improvements to ensure codebase scalability.
• Collaborate with Product stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure solutions are well-architected.
• Monitor production services, diagnose critical issues, and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• High proficiency in .Net/C# and experience designing complex algorithms and architectures.
• Must be based in Northern Ireland.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, MongoDB Atlas, and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Expertise in CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
