• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and deliver innovative products and services.
• Provide technical guidance, design and build technologies in large distributed computing environments.
• Mentor and guide team members to solve complex problems with simple solutions.
• Drive improvements to availability and performance of CloudFront Control Plane.
• Develop high-quality, testable, and maintainable software in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience leading architecture and design of new and current systems (architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling).
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Experience in debugging, profiling, and implementing best practices in large-scale systems.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Knowledge of system performance, memory management, and parallel computing principles.
