Head of Infrastructure & Service: Taking full responsibility for the organisation's infrastructure estate, modern workplace and IT service provision with an accent on transitioning core operations to the cloud and managing a growing team. Focus on defining cloud and service strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost optimisation.

Location: Hybrid - 3 days in office in Ipswich, Suffolk & up to twice per month travel to Glasgow

Fruition are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Infrastructure and Service for a market leading organisation who are currently undergoing an exciting period of transformation.

What you will do

• Define and own the cloud, infrastructure and service strategy and roadmap.
• Drive the transition to modern, scalable and resilient platforms and services.
• Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of core technology services, including modern workplace, hosting, networks, platforms and shared services
• Lead cloud and infrastructure platforms (on-prem, cloud and hybrid), ensuring scalability, reliability and cost optimisation.
• Lead, develop and retain a multi-disciplinary infrastructure and service organisation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an Infrastructure and Service leadership role in a medium/large scale organisation
• Experience of leading technical teams and managing day to day IT operations
• Experience of managing modern cloud first environments
• Knowledge and experience of leading Azure cloud infrastructure and migration.
• Knowledge and experience of leading Support and service management.
• Knowledge and experience of leading Modern workplace with M365
