Location: FT Newsroom staff are expected to work onsite a minimum of three days per week, subject to role requirements and regular review.

What you will do

• Present stories effectively across online and print platforms, including theatre reviews and world event essays.
• Commission illustrations and create secondary elements to enhance reader engagement.
• Collaborate with editors, picture editors, and production experts.
• Evolve the design of Life & Arts and House & Home to improve production efficiency while maintaining distinctive aesthetics.

Requirements

• Thorough experience with Adobe design suite: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator for online element creation.
• Basic understanding of Premiere Pro/After Effects for video toppers.
• Good knowledge of Methode and a strong track record in print design.
• Strong journalistic sense with an understanding of visuals in storytelling.
