What you will do
- Compose and dress environments to support gameplay readability and visual storytelling
- Assemble and modify modular environment assets to build architectural and environmental spaces
- Optimize levels for performance in collaboration with Tech Art and Design
- Maintain visual quality and consistency based on project art direction
- Set up asset properties including LODs, collisions, and materials
- Support bug fixing and visual polish throughout the production cycle
Requirements
- Understanding of architectural and natural environment composition and scale
- Experience optimizing levels for real-time engines including draw calls and streaming
- Strong modeling skills for modular environment assets
- Proficiency in Maya, Blender, and Unreal Engine
- Knowledge of PBR workflows and material standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Nice to have
- Experience working on shipped game titles
- Knowledge of material optimization techniques
- Basic understanding of lighting principles in real-time engines
- Experience with procedural tools such as Houdini
