What you will do
- Design and configure core gameplay levels.
- Balance difficulty and level progression.
- Analyze level performance using metrics such as Win Rate, Restart Rate, and Drop-off.
- Conduct rapid iteration, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing of levels.
- Create and maintain detailed GDDs for levels and mechanics.
- Collaborate with game designers, analysts, and producers on game prototypes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Level Designer.
- Experience in mobile games, specifically puzzle, hybrid casual, or casual genres.
- Strong knowledge of level design principles, gameplay mechanics, and product metrics.
- Proficiency with Unity.
- Ability to design difficulty curves and analyze levels based on metrics rather than intuition.
- Experience creating detailed GDDs.
Nice to have
- Ability to generate original ideas for puzzle games.
- Experience designing new mechanics and level variations.
- Strong awareness of the puzzle game market trends.
