About the position

We are seeking a proactive,tech-savvy and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This full-time contractor is ideal for a mid-level HR professional who is passionate about HR and ready to take full ownership of core aspects of the talent acquisition process, lifecycle management, and HR system optimization. The HR Generalist will play a vital role in shaping the candidate experience and supporting hiring managers across departments by managing job descriptions, postings, candidate screening, offer coordination, and onboarding. You will act as a true partner to our hiring managers, shape the candidate experience, and play a lead role in rolling out new HR tools. If you are a builder who loves streamlining processes

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to draft, revise, and maintain accurate and compelling job descriptions.
  • Post and manage job listings across internal platforms and external job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
  • Monitor incoming applications and triage candidates for hiring manager review based on qualifications and alignment, including candidate screening, filter CVs, and preliminary interview.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the process, from initial contact through offer and acceptance.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of offer letters and facilitate pre-employment requirements (e.g., background checks (for certain positions), reference checks).
  • Coordinate onboarding tasks, including new hire documentation, system access Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS.
  • System Implementation: Take ownership of the rollout and implementation of new HR and recruiting tools we are currently adopting.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Be the ultimate owner of the employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Actively evaluate and improve our onboarding/offboarding workflows directly within our HR systems to automate tasks
  • Assist with recruiting metrics and reporting as needed.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in recruitment processes and employer branding initiatives.
  • Support HR Ops tasks

About You Experience

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in an HR, recruiting, or talent acquisition support role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interviewing Skills: Proven experience screening CVs and conducting initial filter interviews.
  • High attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with—and implementing—recruiting and HR software tools... You aren't afraid to dive into a new system and figure out how to make it work best for the team.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.

PREFERRED

  • Comfort level and competence operating independently while also coordinating with colleagues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with offer coordination and onboarding best practices.
  • Familiarity with modern HR tech stack implementation.

Location

This role can be performed remotely from locations within the UTC-5 to UTC+3 time zones, or preferably in a hybrid capacity from Montevideo or Buenos Aires. While our offices are located in Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Montevideo, North Carolina, and Barcelona, this position will require occasional travel to these locations.
