Salary: $201,100–$238,300 + Equity

What you will do

  • Drive execution on a high-impact roadmap turning product specs into impactful features.
  • Lead and grow a strong engineering team, coaching and hiring top talent.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data teams to define priorities.
  • Own technical quality, architectural decisions, and ensure reliability and scale.
  • Contribute to engineering leadership and company-wide initiatives.
  • Support integration of AI-powered features into the core product experience.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or near San Francisco for hybrid work.
  • 3+ years engineering management experience with recruiting and mentoring.
  • Proven track record delivering complex projects on time with high quality.
  • Strong communication and structured thinking skills.
  • Experience with real-time, high-performance, or multi-product platforms.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Electron, React Native, or rich text editors.
  • Experience at fast-growing B2B SaaS companies.
  • Background in customer support or communication products.
  • Strong design sense and passion for user experience.
